MLB Network Recruiting Session Is Coming March 8th

On Wednesday, March 8th from 8:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. the Newhouse Sports Media Center will welcome the MLB Network for a recruiting session. This block of time will be set for interviews with a network representative. The interviews will be for a variety of entry-level positions that exist within the MLB Network.

MLB Network launched in 2009 and is a primary destination for baseball fans. The network has won multiple Emmy Awards for their productions and have notable baseball minds amongst their talent including Syracuse University alum Bob Costas and many more. MLB Network also does live-game coverage for around 150 regular season games, spring training games and even a few Divisional Series games. The broadcasts are distributed across cable, telco and satellite systems and can be viewed through Comcast, Cox, DirectTV and others. MLB Network operates out of Secaucus, NJ.

The representatives from MLB Network are looking for recently graduated or expected graduates for the 2023 class. People that fall into those two groups that are also looking to begin their careers in television production and operations are encouraged to reach out for an interview time slot. If you are graduating after 2023 you are still more than welcome to reach out and apply for a time slot as networking possibilities are available. The job recruitment is for seniors and graduate students.
