In conjunction with Little League International, the Newhouse Sports Media Center will host an information session for students interested in their summer residency internship program. The internship program offers students real-world, hands-on experience at an international sporting event that draws children, families and fans from around the globe.
The residency program includes positions in the following areas: digital media, video production, on-field camera operations, social media, staff photography, media relations, graphic design and writing. Participants would reside in Williamsport, PA for the duration of the program (July 21 through August 27).
Housing will be provided to participants, along with meals at events. However, participants must arrange their own accommodations to and from Williamsport. Cars are permitted, but not required, and it is recommended that students carpool to and from facilities each day. For your benefit, we’ve also put together a landing page at LittleLeague.org/WSResidency that will house all the information for students and serve as the place for students to apply.
The information session will take place on Monday February 27 at 6:00 p.m. in the I-3 Center (NH2, room 432/434). If you require any accommodations, please contact Mylinda Smith.
