On Friday, September 30th, Associate Dean Brad Horn(PRL) will host two Newhouse alumni for an exciting panel, Sports PR in the Speed of Social. Horn will be joined by Kenny Mintz (’19 PRL), and Anna Stolzenburg (’12 BDJ).
Anna Stolzenburg is the Director of Social Media Content and Strategy at Pegula Sports and Entertainment, overseeing all social media efforts for the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres, as well as other brands within the PSE portfolio.
Anna is a native of East Amherst, NY, and is active in her Buffalo community, including as a Board Member at the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Darwin Martin House, and the Buffalo Bills Foundation. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Anna was named a Buffalo Business First 30 Under 30 honoree in 2020.
Kenny Mintz is a Communications Manager at Twitter, supporting communications and executive visibility efforts around new and existing partnerships across sports, gaming, entertainment and news, as well as B2B, consumer and data storytelling across sports and gaming. He specializes in media relations, working daily with reporters and producers across national sports and business media, sports business, lifestyle, advertising/marketing and regional outlets to collaborate on story ideas and provide them with company news and unique Twitter data.
He previously worked in financial and corporate communications roles at Stanton PR and Weber Shandwick, consulting clients like Otis Elevator, Hudl, Bain Capital, Kioxia (formerly Toshiba Memory), Nestle, Qualcomm Ventures and many others. Kenny held internships with General Motors, The Madison Square Garden Company / MSG Networks, New York Cosmos and Long Island Herald.
