Robert Schiff

Robert Schiff was born and raised in New York City. He grew up playing basketball and baseball, eventually becoming the captain of the varsity baseball team at Yonkers High School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2004, and spent the majority of his enlistment at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He deployed to Iraq for 12 months during operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007.

After five years of honorable service, Robert moved to Los Angeles and attended Long Beach State in pursuit of his Bachelor’s Degree. He graduated in 2014 with a degree in Film and Production Management.

Robert’s focus is now on journalism, at the school he dreamt of attending as a teenager growing up in Yonkers, New York. Now his dream has become a reality, and he is ready to make the most of this amazing opportunity.

His dream is to become a baseball play-by-play announcer, and hopefully one day work for his favorite team, the New York Mets.
