Michelle Fenelon
Michelle Fenelon was born in Haiti and raised in Everett, Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2015 where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in professional writing. Growing up in Greater Boston, it was nearly impossible to escape sports in a city where sports teams hold so much value to its residents. Michelle knew she was meant to work in sports when she had to tiptoe through the living room to watch Celtics and Red Sox games because of her parents' strict no-tv-on-school-nights rule. Michelle began her sports journalism career as a high school sports Correspondent for the Boston Globe after graduating from Everett High School, where she spent most of her days at the center of heated sports debates with her fellow classmates. Working at the Boston Globe as well as interning for the Sun Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale only validated her hunger not only to tell sports stories, but to go beyond the story. One day, Michelle hopes to work for a major sports broadcasting network as a sports broadcaster or sideline reporter.
