Television, Radio and Film
Kent Paisley is from Saratoga, California. He graduated from Chapman University in Orange California in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with minors in Broadcast Journalism, Economics, and Political Science. During his college tenure, Kent was a member of the Chapman Golf Team. He was also a sports broadcaster for all four years for Chapman Radio, where he got the opportunity to call Men and Women’s basketball, football, baseball, men and women’s lacrosse, and softball. His senior year, he was a play-by-play broadcaster for the first season of the Chapman Broadcast Network, where he called men and women’s basketball games, as well as football. In addition, Kent wrote for the University’s newspaper, The Panther, covering the Women’s Lacrosse team. Kent worked for a Big 4 public accounting firm after college, and wrote game previews for the fantasy sports website SQWAD. He realized his life passion was within sports, and put down the financial statements to come be apart of the SCE program. Kent aspires to be a play-by-play broadcaster for network television.
