Julian Whigham is a former American football cornerback for the National Football League. He played college football at Syracuse University and was signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He also played with the Pittsburgh Steelers that same season. Julian started 17 of 43 career games at Syracuse registering 66 total tackles, 12 passes defensed, and four interceptions. In 2015, he was named ACC Defensive Back of the Week for his performance against Wake Forest after recording a career high seven tackles and two pass break-ups. He is from West Palm Beach Florida and in high school Julian was named the Sun-Sentinel 2011 Palm Beach County Big Schools Defensive Player of the Year after recording 45 tackles, 10 interceptions and 3 punt return touchdowns. He was also a 2011 Associated Press 1st Team All-State selection as well as a member of the Palm Beach Post 1st Team All-Area selections. Off the field, Julian was a part of Syracuse University’s Uplifting Athletes chapter, a non-profit organization that helps raise and donate money to the rare disease community.
