Jake Lapin

Jake Lapin is from Houston, Texas and received his Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. After spending two years as the sports editor for a UT campus newspaper and as a featured columnist on Bleacher Report for the Houston Rockets, Jake was a production assistant at the Longhorn Network with ESPN. Jake also has appeared on television and radio at the Texas Student Television and Radio station as a broadcaster, analyst, anchor, and co-host of sports talk shows.

With a jack-of-all-trades approach, Jake has worked in print, radio, and television both in front of the camera and behind the scenes in production. Jake is continuing to work in all these different aspects of the sports media industry, and hopes to one day become a play-by-play announcer.
